An improved process for the beneficiation of ilemenite ore
which comprises i prr reducing ilemmenite ore containing iron
in oxide form by heating the ilrnenite with source of carbon
i n known manner i i leaching the said reduced Flmenite. containing

s u l f u r i c acid a t a temperature in the range sf 60 85 C uld
