| Abstract |
An improved process for the preparation of epoxides of
olefinic organic compounds of open chain having formula
MK C C R CH9 R. wherein R R0 and R is
H afkyl aryl allylW alkyl substituted alfylic
agrops or mixtures thereof and R4 H alkyl aryl allylic
alkyl substituted allylic alkox OH Cl Br or I and n o
8 or cyclic such as cyclohexene substituted cyolohexenes
which comprises reacting the said olefinic organic
compound with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a polar
solvent such as herein described and microporous solid
crystalline catalyst composite material containing
titanium silicate having a molar composition in the
anhydroas state of xTiU l 1 x SiO wherein xQis
from 0.003 to 0.2 at a2temperature between 5 100 C at
autoyenecus pressure for a period between 1 24 houSs and
recovering the corresponding epoxides from the reaction mixture by
by conventional methods in the manner such as herein
described. |
